“What will your fans say?” She asked, worry in her voice and also mirrored in her eyes as she stared at him lovingly.

“What will your fans say?” He returned the question to her, his hands intertwining with hers.

That’s the problem of every idol when it comes to entering a relationship. Their fans. They have to think first on what will be the reactions of their fans. Of course they have to think about them first. After all, they’re the sole reason why an artist became successful.

Just like the two of them.

And for their case, its harder. Both of them are idols.

Kim Hyuna’s 4minute and Lee Joon’s MBLAQ together is somehow not anticipated by their fans. They might have appeared together in Hyuna’s MV for Bubble Pop, but fans didn’t gave any interest. They see Hyunah more better with her labelmate HyunSeung and him, Lee Joon, with T-Ara’s Hyomin.

“Do you think they’ll be okay?” She asked him, her eyes still having the worried expression. Lee Joon just smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead. That’s Lee Joon. He would always use his kiss to wash away her worries. But she’s not sure if it might work this time.

“You worry too much about the fans sweetheart. They can’t do anything. JiHoon hyung and your CEO already approved, remember?” He reminded her. She just smiled a little, nodding. She didn’t even thought that their bosses would approve of them. It’s been two years already since they became a couple, secretly. It was their choice though, to hide their relationship from the public for their privacy and also because of their fans.

“But still-“ She was cut off by him again. He claimed her lips without warning just to stop her saying what’s bothering her.

“Lee Changsun!” She hissed, glaring at him. They were currently inside MBLAQ’s dorm, one of their stolen moments together. The other members were inside the leader’s room, playing with his game console. “Your members might see you!” She added, earning a chuckle from him only.

“So? They’ve seen us a lot of times already. So do as your members.” He cockingly answered, even winking at her. She just rolled her eyes, slapping his arms lightly. With what he said, she can remember her embarassment again everytime their members will see them cuddling.

“You’re blushing again baby.” He teased, caressing her cheeks.

“Your fault.” She got up, brushing off her skirt. “Anyway, I guess its my cue to leave oppa. It’s really late already and you still have to shoot tomorrow.” She said, Lee Joon also getting up from his seat.

“Aish. I really hate this when it’s your time to leave already and you have valid reasons.” He whined like a little kid, pouting.

“Stop acting like Leo oppa please. The kid is even more matured than you.” She teased him, a playful smile on her lips as she watch Joon pout even more.

“That kid is a monster.” He answered, swinging his arm over her shoulders, pulling her close to him as they walk towards the direction of Seungho’s room to say her goodbye.

“He is not. Leo is such a good kid.” She defended their on cam baby, Leo. The kid might be naughty at times but he’s still a cutesy baby boy. And she really really adores the kid.

“Arasso. If you say so.” He surrendered, kssing her temple before opening the door of Seungho’s room. “Hyung, Hyuna’s going already.” He said then, revealing the four members all hudled in front of the huge monitor screen.

“Oh. You’re going already?” Seungho asked, turning his head to them while the other three remained focus on what they’re currently watching.

“Neh. It’s getting really late and you still have to shoot Hello Baby tomorrow.” She answered, smiling. After saying goodbye to the members, Joon walked her to the door. He can’t really walk her out to the underground parking lot because of the tendency that the fans might see them.

“When will I see you?” He asked her, as he was watching her slip on her sneakers.

“I’ll watch your performance on Inkigayo this week. Me and the girls are coming to support G.Na unnie.” Even in being the same programme, they have to be careful. Fans seemed to have a radar when it comes to their idols getting in a relationship.

“Arasso. I’ll just wait then. But, can I visit tomorrow?” By visit, he means it at night. Midnight to be exact. So there would be less people. Since their managers are aware of them being together, they allow them to visit each other even at late night, with their helps of course.

“That would be awesome.” She said, pecking him on the lips. “I’ll go now. Saejin unnie said the floor is clear already. I love you.” She kissed him one more time before heading out of the apartment. Like what her manager said, the floor is cleared. She saw her manager waiting for her near the elevator.

It’s been another night. She and Joon would always meet like that. Since only a few people knows their relationship. Consisting of their members, their families, the CEOs and their managers. And no one else knows anymore. That’s why they have to be really careful.


United Cube Concert at Seoul. Fans of the groups another Cube are all present to show their support to their idols. The whole stadium was filled with cheers from the fans and the music of Beast, 4minute, G.Na and other artists were blasting off.

G.Na and Yoseob has their special performance of G.Na’s song, If I Have A Lover which originally featured Rain. Hyunah and the other members of 4minute were watching from the side, ready for their performance which is next.

“Gina unnie looks so gorgeous.” Jiyoon said, admiring their sister as she started off the song.

“Yeah. Doojoon oppa is really lucky.” Jihyun agreeing, even bringing up the name of Gina’s boyfriend, Beast’s leader, Yoon Doo Joon.

“Obviously.” She just said, smiling as her attention focused on the performers.

During the chorus part, fans started screaming wildly and loudly. Yoseob isn’t on stage yet but the reactions were strong already.

“What’s happening?” She asked the crews who just shrugged. Even the crews didn’t have any idea on what was happening.

“Hyunah. There’s a change on your stage. Come on. You’ll show up from somewhere.” Her manager called her, which she quickly followed.

They went to the dug out which is under the center/intersection stage. Saejin pushed her gently to get inside the ramp already even though she still have a few minutes to prepare. Gina’s song isn’t even on ending. By what she can hear, it was rearranged. A long instrumental version was added.

“Yah! Unnie! It’s already moving!” She panicked, when she felt the ramp being lifted up. In a few seconds, she’s already standing on the stage, a forced smile on her lips. This is pure embarassment for her, barging in with someone else’s song.

“Yah.” She stiffened, hearing that very very familiar voice, as the fans’ cheers went louder.
“It can’t be.” She whispered to herself, slowly turning around. What she saw made her gasp, her left hand covering her mouth in huge surprise.

“Surprise.” Lee Joon smilingly said through his mic as he was flawlessly walking his way towards her, a white rose on his hand.

She was glued to her position, as she just watched him get nearer to her. His smile never faltered, it even grew wider as he stood in front of her, offering her the white rose.

“Hello beautiful.” He greeted, his hand gently brushing off the strands of hair on her face.

She can’t hear the fans cheers anymore. Seems like she went deaf after hearing Joon say those words, and so do as her strong heartbeat. Her eyes focused on him only, questions filling it.

What is he doing there? With a rose? Calling her beautiful? Acting so romantic? Is he just revealing their relationship to the public.

“W-what are you d-doing here?” She finally choked out, her voice almost a whisper. Of course Joon would be the only one who can hear her, she has no mic like him.

Instead of answering, he just motioned at the huge background screen located at the main stage. She slowly looked at the direction, and as her eyes landed on the screen, she can’t help but gasp loudly. She clutched her mouth with both of her hands in surprise.

On the screen, a transition of her photos and videos taken with Joon is playing as Gina and Yoseob continued singing the song. Those were their secrets. Most of the pictures were displaying their sweetness to each other. A photo of them kissing was even included.


She looked back at Joon, her eyes filled with more questions. The sudden happening is making her head go crazy. She can feel her heart wanting to burst anytime soon because of mixed emotions. She didn’t know what to say anymore. With what Joon was doing, it’s clearly obvious that he’s already announcing them publicly.

“Yeorobeun.” Joon started, his eyes staring at her. The way he looked at her, like she’s the only girl that brightens him up. That she’s the most beautiful girl that has ever stepped in this world. And she loved him for that. He never failed to make her heart flutter. Just like now, her stomach is getting filled with small butterflies again.

“Do you see this lovely girl standing right in front of me?” He asked through his microphone, the crowd beaming with a loud yes in unison. He glanced at the audience, a smile on his lips before looking back at her. “She’s my girlfriend for two years now everybody.” He announced, his eyes not leaving her. While she didn’t even dare to blink. Thinking that its just a dream, that Joon might disappear from her sight anytime. That everything he’s saying is all part of a dream.

“You don’t have anything against us, do you?” He asked, this time with a playful tone. The crowd shouted in unison again, making Joon chuckle. But not her. Everything he’s saying is making her cry already. She can’t see him clearly anymore thanks to the tears clouding her eyes.

“And one more thing.” He trailed, continuing to look at her with his eyes filled of love. “Wiil you give us your blessings to get married?”

His question surprised the whole crowd, even herself. There were loud gasps here and there, clearly that the fans were awed and taken aback by his words.

“Kim Hyunah.” He said her name like it’s the sweetest melody ever. She can feel more butterflies in her stomach as her tears slowly fell from her eyes. She and Joon had talked about wedding and stuff, but never the idea of them getting married. Moreover the idea of them announcing their relationship to the public that way.

“Ahh. I knew it would be this hard. But anyway.” He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck as he slowly got down on one knee.
“O-omo.” She managed to say, looking at Joon in front of her, kneeling. She can’t believe what’s happening. Joon is freaking kneeling in front of her like those in the movies where the lead guy would propose to her girlfriend.

“Will you..” He stopped, fishing out something from his shirt pocket. Something glinted against the light, and as she fixed her eyes on his hand, she realized he’s already holding a ring. “marry me Kim Hyunah.”

Her ears rang at his words. Her heart just wanted to burst out of her chest that moment when she heard his words. Lee Joon is already asking her to marry him.

“I know this is too sudden baby. But I’m already sure, you’re the girl that I want to be with for the rest of my life. You’re the only girl that made me stutter so bad in front of the whole nation of South Korea. You made me happier than I was before. You make me feel like I’m the luckiest guy in this world because of I have you. I love you so much Kim Hyunah that I’m even willing to do everything just to make you say yes to my proposal. Even if you make me your slave forever. Everything.” He lovingly told her, the ring glinting against the light on his hand.

His words just made her tear up even more. Now her tears are non stop, her heart beating harder than it ever has her entire life.

“SAY YES!!!” The crowd echoed a few moments of silence after hearing Joon’s proposal. Finally, a chuckle escaped her lips as she turned to the audience.

“Shall I?” She didn’t even know how she managed to shout at her state. Her tears are still flowing non stop, her voice shaking so do as her hands. She’s trembling inside and out.

“NEH!!!!” The crowd shouted once again. She looked back at Joon, smiling even more. She didn’t mind if her tears are ruining her make up already.

“Yes.” The magic word finally escaped her lips, the crowd going wild again. And Joon, gently slipping the ring on her left ring finger. Even kissing the back of her hand as he stood up, meeting her eyes with a huge smile on his handsome face.

“I love you Kim Hyunah.” He whispered against her lips before finally claiming it with his. The whole stadium was filled with wolf whistles, cheering from the crowd again. They were too engrossed with their passionate lip lock that they didn’t even noticed that they were already down on the dug out.

“Thank you for making me this happy Kim Hyunah.” His voice sent shivers down to her spine. A small smile appeared on her lips, her hand gently caressing his cheeks.

“Yah. Save that greasiness for later. It’s time for 4minute now Hyunah-ah.” Jihyun’s voice caught their attention, making Hyunah blush.

“Aish. I really hate it when you guys barge in at times like this.” She muttered a complain, burying her face on Joon’s broad chest because of embarassment.

“Don’t worry. Once you get married, you’ll have a whole house to yourself. You can do anything there. Oh, make your wedding sooner Lee Joon-ssi.” The leader even winked playfully, Hyunah blushing harder.

“Does she really have to say those?!”

“Get used to it baby. There’s still a lot of people.”
